Hello, academic twitter! I would like to hear from teachers, curriculum developers, C&I researchers about whether/how you interact with: a) Standards (such as Common Core standards) and/or b) Research/research findings when you make lesson plans. I am ignorant. Please enlighten.

I am also interested in research on how teachers make lesson plans and/or engage with research, standards. Also research or anecdotes from translators on challenges/best practices for translating cog research to ed practice & policy.

We interact pretty heavily with it because of the standard structure for setting up a rationale i.e., big picture->study->implications for big picture. More often than not, the big picture is related to common core or NCTM standards
