No. Understanding these themes is exactly what made it so infuriating to see them executed so terribly. Other M is a story about love, loss, grief, & overcoming trauma/mental health, told by somebody who doesn't have a clue how to tell a story about any of those things.

Failing to understand any of these avenues within a character because it wasn't how you had imagined them in your own head is quite honestly the biggest injustice to the game & Samus herself.
