So this whole thing is over an 11 year old hitting an elderly man with a whiffle ball bat? The boy should not have done that, but how is it a national outrage?
I wanted to check a few things before commenting on this, but more and more this is looking like a right-wing op. This has been blasted out as a baseball attack on an Asian elder, a hate crime ignored! Seems like DDK fell for that narrative, which is looking increasingly false.

This bill would, among other things, decertify any public sector union whose paying membership falls under 50% of the workers, while (conveniently!) making it much harder for would-be members to pay their dues. Oh, except for police, corrections, and firefighter unions.
A union busting bill (HB1197) just passed a subcommittee in the FL legislature. It seeks to break up and defund most unions in the state. All Democrats voted against and all but one Republican voted for it. The bill is supported by corporate and Koch affiliated special interests.

This is just my opinion, but I think this race is a national referendum on whether Democrats need to do more. There is now an insane narrative in Washington that the Democrats did too much. Well, let’s find out if Democratic voters think Democrats have done enough or not.
Nina Turner’s campaign says it raised more than $100k after her announcement yesterday, comparable to her best fundraising days during the #OH11 special last year.

Times getting slammed by its podcast listeners for @DLeonhardt urging people to freak out less about covid
Lots of listeners to our ep with @DLeonhardt said their anxiety about COVID was not personal health, but infecting others and their community. David addresses this here ---- >

This is also the guy who falsely accused some random guy in NC of being a body double of Brett Kavanagh
The casual insinuation that this says more about the pool of potential #SCOTUS nominees than it does about the broader lack of diversity in the legal profession may not be beneath the speaker, but it sure ought to have been beneath the New York Times to uncritically publish.

7 RTs by the end of the day probably doesn’t hit the social media team’s enthusiasm metric for the launch of this congressional campaign
After careful consideration, I have decided to enter the race for Congress in Rhode Island's Second District. The fight to preserve democracy is the most sacred obligation of our generation.

Context is Langevin retired so it’s an open seat. He’s state treasurer and was running for governor but clearly thinks congress is easier. Dad was Ira, famous policy guy from the 90s
Replying to @ryangrim
What’s the context? There’s an open seat in ri? He’s from the conservative wing, right?

There’s actually no significant liberal media dedicated to doing this, and it’s an interesting source of the asymmetrical warfare

Didn’t know we ended white nationalism, but glad to hear it
ah yes, deplatforming has historically been ineffective at silence dangerous fringe voices. Just look at what happened to Richard Spencer

Turner in this ad refers to Democrats blocking the party's agenda as "holdouts" which I have always thought, from a styleguide perspective, is really the most accurate and inclusive phrase for them
Greater Cleveland needs a change maker in Washington. A leader who knows poverty is a policy choice. Someone who is on the side of the people—not out for the powerful or out for themselves. I’m Nina Turner and I’m running for Congress. Join me: bit.ly/3KCcAku
