Not so much. Because Telegram and Signal are almost same, except in features. In terms of security + anonymity, Telegram fares better. If you just want to hide the last time you connected to some server of the messenger, then Signal fares better. I 1/

You do have the data because you are FORCING users to store their profiles and contacts on your servers. You can pretend you don't have the data because it is encrypted and you can't currently access the keys, but the keys are there too and just one SGX 0day away.
