More insights of the post mini-grant workshop for young people in Uganda who had created a peacemaking project. Sustainability was key during this workshop. I was happy as the only Gay person sharing the same platform with other incredible peacemakers. Asante @PeaceFirstOrg

Today we want to look back at these past two weeks and especially into the lives of our communities (our sex workers, our LGBTIQ+ families) in Uganda We want to celebrate small wins because celebration is resistance.

What is happening in Ghana - is exactly what happened in Uganda. Extreme religious groups. Pay attention to Ghana 🌈
The anti-LGBTQ bill submitted to Ghana's Speaker of Parliament is titled "Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021" & it was named after Ghana's largest homophobic group, the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values
